When a registrant wants to link their registry from another website to MyRegistry.com, there are instructions on the sync page to help guide the registrant to sync but the old instructions were confusing and difficult to read. So I came up with a concept to have each step of the sync instructions on different screens to toggle between to give the registrant step by step instructions that are easier to follow and understand. Designing the screen shots as well as the layout of the instruction pages was a great chance to think about how the registrant would interact with this feature and make it easier to understand what they needed to do in each step. Also coming up with new concepts around different ways to display the bar displaying what step they are on was an interesting experiment that was an informative experience.
